A single BEAST 230 — for adding a third lamp to an existing pair, replacing a damaged unit, or building up one light at a time.
Australian designed, engineered, tested and manufactured, fusing military practicality and ruggedness with bold design styling. Built to endure the most extreme driving conditions and tested past where the standards stop: the lens is rated to survive a 400 g rock at 100 km/h, or 1 kg at 60 km/h.
Three-mode operation lets you switch between spot, flood and BEAST mode from the driver's seat — no stopping, no swapping filters.

Change beam patterns with the push of a button
Three genuinely different beams, not a dimmer setting — and all three reached without taking your eyes off the road. The shots below start with the vehicle's own high beams for reference.
Spot — 60 m wide
A tightly focused, concentrated beam for long-distance driving, when you want to see as far as light will carry.
Flood — 140 m wide
Around 160 degrees of peripheral vision, with a softer spread that keeps glare down on winding roads.
BEAST — 140 m wide
The full width of flood with a central beam almost as strong as spot. Maximum total output.
A note on beam distance: Lightforce publish BEAST 230 beam figures for a pair of lights — 1 lux at 1,497 m in spot, 778 m in flood and 1,375 m in BEAST mode. They do not publish separate single-light distances, so we have not quoted one. A single lamp will reach less far than a pair.
How the switching works
Press the top of the switch to power on. Press the lower half to swap between spot and flood. Hold it down for one second to trigger BEAST mode.

No, and you do need one. We stock the universal BEAST harness plus ten vehicle-specific looms.
Do I need the BEAST-specific harness?
Yes — the three switchable modes rely on it.
Can I add this as a third light?
Yes, but you will need a second harness. One harness will not run three lights safely.
Does it have a DRL mode?
Yes, a daylight running option is included.
