Find switches to suit your vehicle

Lightforce switches are made to drop into a factory blank, so fitment is vehicle specific. Pick your make and model to see what suits.

Not sure which switch fits? Give us a call and we'll check it against your build.

Factory-look switches for your dash

Most utes and 4WDs leave from the factory with blank covers where optional switches would go. An OE-style replacement switch clips straight into one of those blanks, so your driving lights, light bar, work lights or compressor are controlled from a switch that looks like it came with the vehicle — no drilling the dash and no stick-on rocker panel.

OE replacement switches

OE replacement switches are made to the size and shape of a specific factory opening, so the first step is knowing which one your vehicle uses. Common openings include:

  • Toyota — roughly 39 x 21mm on 1998-on models and 32.5 x 22mm on 2008-on models
  • Nissan — roughly 34 x 19mm on 2000-on models and 30 x 23mm on 2012-on models
  • Isuzu D-Max / Holden Colorado — roughly 34 x 22mm
  • Mitsubishi — roughly 35 x 17mm

Pop out one of your blanks and measure it before ordering. Within each size you choose the icon — driving lights, LED light bar, work lights, roof lights, beacon and more — so the dash tells you exactly what each switch does.

Lightforce switches

Lightforce builds its own OE-style switch range to match its lighting. Switches come in vehicle-specific styles (for example TY and TY2 for Toyota-style openings, and FR23 for the Next-Gen Ford Ranger), with a wide choice of icons, momentary and on/off versions, and dual or custom-icon options. Some include a plug-and-play adaptor for the matching Lightforce wiring harness. The range also includes USB chargers, voltmeters and RJ45 pass-throughs that let you run a UHF handset through a tidy switch-sized fitting.

Switch panels and fascias

When there aren't enough blanks to go round, there are two neat ways to add more:

  • Replacement dash fascias swap out the factory switch fascia for one with more switch positions — available for the LandCruiser 200, Holden Colorado, Ford Ranger PX2/PX3 and Next-Gen Ranger, Raptor and Everest.
  • Switch panels hold four switches in a housing you can mount wherever suits — under the dash, on a console or in the canopy.

Universal rocker switches

For older vehicles, trucks and custom panels, sealed rocker switches with clear symbols (aux lights, compressor, winch, diff lock and more) are a tough, simple option.

Wire it through a relay. A dash switch should tell a relay to turn your lights on, not carry the full current of the lights itself. A proper harness with a relay and fuse keeps the switch cool, protects the wiring and is what any auto electrician will expect to see. Most Lightforce driving-light harnesses are built this way.
