Change beam patterns with the push of a button
Three genuinely different beams, not a dimmer setting — and all three reached without taking your eyes off the road. Every shot below was taken on the same stretch of road, starting with the vehicle's own high beams for reference.
Spot — 1 lux at 1,497 m, 60 m wide
Tame your terrain. A tightly focused, concentrated beam for long-distance driving, when you want to see as far as light will physically carry.
Flood — 1 lux at 778 m, 140 m wide
Safety on winding roads. Around 160 degrees of peripheral vision, with a softer, more diffused spread that keeps glare down and visibility consistent as the road changes under you.
BEAST — 1 lux at 1,375 m, 140 m wide
The full width of flood with a central beam almost as strong as spot. Maximum total light output, for long-range vision and peripheral spread at the same time.
How the switching works
Press the top of the switch to power the lights on. Press the lower half to swap between spot and flood. Hold that lower half down for one second to trigger BEAST mode.

Frequently asked questions
How do I switch beam modes?
Power the lights on by pressing the top section of the switch. Press the lower half to swap between spot and flood. Hold the switch down for one second to trigger BEAST mode.
When should I use each mode?
Spot suits long-distance driving where you need to see as far down the road as possible. Flood is best for consistent visibility on winding roads. BEAST uses all available power for the greatest total output — the same wide spread as flood, with a central beam almost as strong as spot.
Is the wiring harness included?
No, and you do need one. We stock the universal BEAST harness as well as ten vehicle-specific looms covering Hilux, Landcruiser 70 and 200 Series, D-MAX, BT-50 and MU-X — so unlike Lightforce's own range, the vehicle-specific loom for your truck is most likely on the shelf here now.
Do I need the BEAST-specific harness?
Yes. The three switchable modes rely on it, and it is required for correct operation.
How do I run three lights?
You need two BEAST universal harnesses. One harness will not run three lights safely.
Does it have a DRL mode?
Yes, a daylight running option is included.
