1,119 m on spot, 763 m on combo
The filter you fit decides the beam. The clear spot filter included in the kit concentrates everything down the centre for maximum reach; swap to the combo filter and you trade distance for a far wider spread.
Three stage operation
Full intensity, a daytime position and a nighttime position, so the light earns its place on the bar during the day instead of sitting dark until you need it.

Frequently asked questions
Professional or E-Mark edition?
This Professional Edition is the one to buy unless you specifically need the European approval. It runs 140 W out of the box, reaches 1,119 m, carries a 5 year warranty, and costs less. The E-Mark edition is regulated down to 34 W and 640 m with a 1 year warranty, and is the one Lightforce describe as compliant for road use in New Zealand and Europe.
Genesis or Venom?
The Genesis is 214 mm and reaches 1,119 m; the Venom is 150 mm and reaches 939 m. If the bar has room, the Genesis is the longest-throwing light in the range. If bar space is tight, or you are running more than two lights, the Venom gives you far more mounting freedom. At 2.4 kg each the Genesis also wants a solid mount.
Is a harness included?
No. The kit includes a 4-pin harness adaptor, but you still need a loom to wire the light to a switch. The LFDLHTS3 is the matching single-switch harness.
What does the combo filter change?
It widens the beam considerably at the cost of reach — 1 lux at 763 m instead of 1,119 m. Most people run spot on one pair and combo on another, or swap by trip.
