That harness matters more than it sounds. Late-model utes pulse the high-beam feed rather than running it as clean DC, which upsets a lot of aftermarket bars. The bridge rectifier in the Smart Harness is what lets this one sit behind a factory circuit without flicker.

This is the sweet spot of the range. At 792 mm it fits where a 40 or 50 inch bar will not, and it still out-throws the 50 inch single row — 896 m against 878 m, in 478 mm less bar.

Frequently asked questions
Why does this beat the 50 inch single row?
Eight 10 W long-range LEDs against four. Length spreads light sideways; the long-range elements are what push it down the road.
Is the harness included?
Yes. Every Viper bar ships with the full Smart wiring harness — unlike the Lightforce driving lights, where the loom is a separate purchase.
Do I need a switch as well?
The harness terminates in an 8-pin connector. If you are not plugging into a factory-style switch, add the Mouse Switch (LFMOUSESW) or the SWADP4 adaptor, otherwise there is nothing to turn it on with.
Are the mounts included or an extra?
Included. Every bar comes with both the stainless steel side brackets and the rear slide mounts. The mount SKUs we list separately are spares and anti-theft versions.
Fitting
An LED lightbar must be wired in accordance with Warrant of Fitness rules. At 16 A this is one of the heaviest draws in the Viper range and wants properly sized cable and fusing — send us your rego and we will talk it through before you order.
