The 308 stainless steel side brackets are the detail worth knowing — far superior to the mild steel most bars use, and on a 3.5 kg bar bolted to a moving vehicle, the brackets are what you are trusting.

That harness matters more than it sounds. Late-model utes pulse the high-beam feed rather than running it as clean DC, which upsets a lot of aftermarket bars. The bridge rectifier in the Smart Harness is what lets this one sit behind a factory circuit without flicker.

Frequently asked questions
Will it fit?
1,270 mm is wider than many bull bars and most roof platforms, and at 3,560 g it is heavy enough that the mounting points matter. Measure first, and check what your rack is rated to carry. The universal dual row roof mount kit (LFLBVUMKITD) is the usual answer for a platform rack.
What about the current draw?
25.3 A is the heaviest in the Viper range — over 300 W. This is not a bar to run off a thin accessory feed. It needs properly sized cable, a relay, and correct fusing. If you are adding it to a vehicle that already has driving lights and a fridge, it is worth thinking about the whole circuit rather than this light alone.
Is the harness included?
Yes. Every Viper bar ships with the full Smart wiring harness — unlike the Lightforce driving lights, where the loom is a separate purchase.
Do I need a switch as well?
The harness terminates in an 8-pin connector. If you are not plugging into a factory-style switch, add the Mouse Switch (LFMOUSESW) or the SWADP4 adaptor, otherwise there is nothing to turn it on with.
Are the mounts included or an extra?
Included. Every bar comes with both the 308 stainless steel side brackets and the rear slide mounts. The mount SKUs we list separately are spares and anti-theft versions.

An LED lightbar must be wired in accordance with Warrant of Fitness rules. Given the draw and the weight, this is one we would rather talk through than have arrive and not fit — send us your rego and what it is going on.
