That harness matters more than it sounds. Late-model utes pulse the high-beam feed rather than running it as clean DC, which upsets a lot of aftermarket bars. The bridge rectifier in the Smart Harness is what lets this one sit behind a factory circuit without flicker.

Frequently asked questions
Is the harness included?
Yes. Every Viper bar ships with the full Smart wiring harness — unlike the Lightforce driving lights, where the loom is a separate purchase.
Do I need a switch as well?
The harness terminates in an 8-pin connector. If you are not plugging into a factory-style switch, add the Mouse Switch (LFMOUSESW) or the SWADP4 adaptor, otherwise there is nothing to turn it on with.
Are the slide mounts included or an extra?
Included. Every bar comes with both the stainless steel side brackets and the rear slide mounts. The mount SKUs we list separately are spares and anti-theft versions.
Will it work on a late-model ute?
That is what the Smart Harness is for. Its built-in bridge rectifier handles the pulsed high-beam feeds used on many modern vehicles.
How does this compare to a driving light?
A bar spreads light wide; a driving light throws it far. At 256 m this 6 inch bar is an auxiliary light, not a replacement for a pair of Genesis or Venoms on the bull bar.

An LED lightbar must be wired in accordance with Warrant of Fitness rules. If you are not sure how it should be switched on your vehicle, send us your rego and we will talk it through before you order.
